Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches are transparent adhesives designed to cover isolated blemishes. The hydrocolloid helps absorb exudate from superficial pimples—such as pustules or whiteheads—and creates a physical barrier to prevent you from touching, rubbing, or manipulating them.
This pack includes 216 patches in two sizes to adapt coverage to different areas of the face: 144 patches of 8 mm and 72 patches of 12 mm. Their thin design and matte finish allow them to be worn overnight or, if they adhere well to clean skin, as discrete coverage during the day.
What hydrocolloid patches can do
Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches work best when there is fluid on the surface of the lesion. The hydrocolloid material absorbs that moisture and forms a protective environment over the pimple. By covering it, they can also help reduce the urge to squeeze or scratch the area.
They are not a comprehensive acne treatment and do not replace a routine indicated by a dermatologist. The patches do not reach deep pimples, nodules, or cystic acne; nor do they remove closed blackheads. For persistent, painful, or widespread acne, consult a healthcare professional.
How to use them
- Clean and thoroughly dry the area where you will apply the patch.
- Do not apply serum, cream, oil, or sunscreen under the patch to promote adhesion.
- Choose the size that covers the pimple and leaves a margin around the area.
- Peel off the patch without touching the adhesive part too much.
- Place it over the blemish and gently press for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Leave it on for several hours or until the center looks whitish; carefully remove and discard it.
For a nightly routine, apply the patch to clean, dry skin before bed. In the morning, slowly remove it and continue with gentle cleansing and sunscreen.
