Description
Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm
The Radiance Cleansing Balm by Beauty of Joseon is a balm-type makeup remover that melts onto dry skin during massage. It is designed to help remove makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum as the first step in a double cleansing routine.
Its solid texture transforms into oil upon contact with the warmth of the hands and, when water is added, emulsifies to facilitate rinsing. The format includes a spatula to hygienically scoop the product and apply a comfortable amount before facial massage.
Two-step Cleansing
The Cleansing Balm combines rice bran water and oil, sea buckthorn oil, ginseng seed oil, and a complex of cereal extracts. It also includes Lactobacillus ferment and soybean ferment among its formula components.
Use it especially at night, when you need to remove sunscreen residue, foundation, mascara, or other products from the day. After rinsing, you can continue with a water-based cleanser to complete the double cleanse, depending on your routine's needs.
How to use it
- With clean hands and a dry face, take a small amount with the spatula.
- Warm the product between your fingertips and apply it to a dry face.
- Gently massage to help dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and impurities.
- Add a few drops of lukewarm water and continue massaging until the balm emulsifies.
- Rinse with plenty of lukewarm water.
- Finish with a water-based cleanser if you wish to perform a double cleanse.
Avoid rubbing intensely, especially around the eyes and lips. For stubborn makeup, gently massage the area for a few seconds before emulsifying and rinsing.

Precautions
The Cleansing Balm is for external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with plenty of water. Do not use on broken, irritated skin, or skin with signs of an active reaction.
Perform a patch test before first use if your skin reacts easily to new cosmetics. Discontinue use if persistent discomfort occurs. Ideal cleansing is not a battle against the skin: it's a gentle dance, like bossa nova, before your routine begins.
